Discomfort Dispatch is a series of independent free improvisation events starting around 2017 in Italy, arriving in the Netherlands in 2021. \u201cDiscomfort Dispatch\u201d is a metaphor of the uneasiness experienced by artists and audiences, a reference to the embarrassment generated by the situations that it creates. By accepting to collaborate with a stranger, every guest is putting him\/herself into the awkwardness of sharing the stage, that feeling must be overcome in order to reach a common ground to complete the task for which the artist is invited. It is going to be the 33rd edition of Discomfort Dispatch on the 6 of Nov 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 In this edition at Helicopter, 12 musicians are invited to improvise for 20 minutes in a couple of duos. Rehearsing is forbidden, verbal planning inappropriate. \u2028Discomfort dispatch usually involves musicians\/improvisers and is open to any kind of performing artist indagating limits and power of improvisation.More about Discomfort Dispatch:
