The Good, The Bad & The Ugly at Helicopter Project Space positions three artists with highly contrasting practices into a climate of negotiation. Specific contexts such as political austerity, social division, democracy of fashion and the hermeticism of community infrastructures reveal their own proximites and borders with varying degrees of registration. Like the site of Helicopter itself, where signs of ruin give way to decay and weeds push their way through cracks in concrete, the artists all contribute nuanced ways of navigating macro perspectives setting down flickering beacons, emitting pulses that seduce us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
