To celebrate nature and in context of the biggest Grassroots Festival Fête de la Nature in Holland, we have organized an afternoon full with live music, open studios, food and drinks and an ‘exchange-your-tiles-for-plants’-ACTION!
Tropical music by Fred, a Robot Gamelan by Loek Vellekoop, vegetarian snacks by Mo from Snackbar Hadewychje, a juicy bar, making fruit spears and colouring pages for children, movement meditation workshop by Tim Sluijter, tours along Helicopter-studios, selfmade ‘HellYeah’ Helicopter-Lemonade, Yiddish Balkan soul train ‘Schlemiel and Schlimazel, rock duo ‘Ernsting&Ganga’, experimental voice performance ‘Aurora’ and a big container where you can exchange your garden tiles for FREE plants.
The event was a collaboration between Helicopter, De Samenscholing, Duurzaam Den Haag and several local initiatives from our neighborhood Moerwijk.
