LAURA AGNUSDEI (saxophone, electronics)
Laura Agnusdei is a classically trained saxophone player from Bologna (IT), currently based in The Hague(NL), where she is studying at the Institute of Sonology. Her electroacoustic compositions feature the saxophone as the main voice within sonic landscapes that shift between melodies and textures, the song form and improvisation, fusing acoustic, digital and analogue sound sources to create emotional states that change from track to track. Agnusdei is a former member of neo-psych quintet Sex with Giallone (Trovarobato) and now is touring around Europe with cult psych-rock band Julie’s Haircut (Rocket Recordings). Her debut solo cassette “Night/Lights” was released via The Tapeworm in August this year.

VLADIMIR VLAEV – HEXAPP (modified guitar & live electronics)
HexApp is an instrumental & live electronics project which puts in a new context the relationship between the input of a physical gesture of a musician and the derived artistic sound output. It is an exploration of the capabilities of a digital processing engine developed to transform acoustic sound in real time. Achieved transformations occupy the broad spectrum of musical expression between immersive slowly unfolding and evolving drone-like textures and emerging sharply articulated grainy sounds. In particular, HexApp is a hybrid ….., acoustic – digital hybrid, naturally – artificial, traditionally – innovative hybrid of 6 independently depending on each other, unpredictably predictable constituents of a dynamically – motionless soundscape.

INFERNAL MOSQUITOES / THAT WONDERFUL NOISE (prepared tenor saxophone, clarinets, electronics)
Riccardo Marogna tries to challenge the boundaries between acoustic and digitally generated sounds, looking for that zone where electronic manipulations and acoustic sounds merge seamlessly in the continuum of the sonic gesture. Musician, improviser, composer born in Verona (Italy) and currently based in The Hague (NL), he is active in many projects, playing a range of reed instruments combined with electronics. His music has been published by El Gallo Rojo Records, Setola di Maiale, AUT Records. He toured in Italy, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Poland, United States.
